  • Jade

Jade attended Chippewa Valley Technical College in Wisconsin where she graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She’s had the opportunity to teach Early Childhood for 8 years. The first 4 years being in a public school, and the last 4 years being in childcare centers. Jade enjoys volunteering with anything that involves children and has completed numerous internships in multiple different childcare settings. Jade has the satisfaction of knowing that by showing up to work each day and loving her students, she’s not only changing their lives, but that they’re changing hers as well. Watching her students' imaginations run wild, listening to their stories, hearing their infectious giggles, and seeing their eyes light up at the words of “DANCE PARTY” is what keeps her coming to work every day. Jade was adopted and she grew up with 2 other sisters. Her family was fortunate enough to have traveled to most of the U.S. states, Canada, and Mexico. She grew up learning to be responsible due to having multiple dogs, and a cat in the house. After visiting Alaska, Jade decided she would move there to explore everything the state had to offer. She doesn’t have any biological children of her own, although she does have 24 students that she considers hers and she’s content with that. Jade couldn’t be prouder of her kids. When Jade isn’t planning her lessons for the upcoming week you can find her exploring the mountains of Colorado as she has only lived here for a couple months. She is no stranger to the great outdoors and enjoys going out with friends as well. As much as she enjoys going out, a nice relaxing night at home snuggled on the couch watching her favorite movies is a must.
